Q:
How many people per trip.
A: Depends on what you require,  For fishing, 8  rods is the maximum , but if you want a 4 or 6 fishing rod trip, this is  available and will be reflected in the cost.   

Q : What Types of fishing charter do you do.
A: Please see the prices page for these details.

Q : What type of fish are available.
A : Cod, Ling, Pollack, Wrasse, Haddock, Flatfish, Spurdogs, Mackerel, Halibut, Porbeagle Shark, Bass  most are widely available from May to November... *Bluefin Tuna are available  from the last week of September for  5 weeks. We also do deep deep deep sea fishing to bring up the "fish that populate your nightmares" from 6000 feet down. ( using electronic reels)
We can fish up to 8 rods,  you can bring your own gear, or use our high quality gear. any of our gear lost is chargeable.

Q : Do you need a complete group or can you express interest and We/You will find other like minded people to form a group / minimum number required.
A:  We do not need you to provide a complete group for any of our activities but for complete groups we offer additional discounts .

Q: I know nothing about fishing will you provide guidance.
A: Of course, everbody has to start somewhere after all :)

Q : Normal duration of trips
A: This normally varies betwwen a 4 hours to 2 days for fishing and  4,  6 or 12 days for cruising .


Q: Is there a fuel Surcharge ?
A: Normally not , but In some instances, dependant  upon where YOU want to go, there may be an extra fuel charge, the  extra fuel will be supplied at cost to you,  this will be made clear at the time of booking.

Q: Can the crew cook ?
A:  In all cases 3 star quality (restaurant standard) meals and drinks are provided and included in the price 

Q: Can the guests cook if they want to ?
A: If you can, and you feel that you have to be in the kitchen to be happy, depending on circumstances, you are welcome to apply yourself.

A: Well behaved children are made most welcome but just as on land they are your responsibility. 

GENERAL F.A.Q's

Q: Can you provide land based sleeping accmodation  ? 
A: We have a number of Swiss Chalet Style cabins which we can place at your disposal, they  are located on the picturesque shores of  Loch Awe , the price of tends to be between £40  and £100 per night, they sleep between 2 people and 8 people.

Q: Are Pets allowed
A: Call or email us to discuss your requirements, and hopefully we may be able to arrange something, for day trips where the animal is on deck or with us in the enclosed flybridge this is not normally an issue.

Q: I have heard that the  sailors aboard the Beaux Sun are rabid scoundrels that willl probably rob us blind, then pressgang our family  into maritime slavery as soon as we step on board.
